Ski holidays in Breckenridge
Breckenridge, the most popular American resort for British skiers, has a unique appeal with its Victorian buildings, great skiing and lively après-ski. This is most definitely a resort with a vibrant and pulsating après-ski scene. There are bars and restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.
The main access to the mountain is at the base of Peak 9, where a high speed 6 person chair with 2 separate loading stations allows 12 people at a time to begin the ascent. Beginners will relish the wide open, gentle nursery runs at the base of Peak 9 and will quickly perfect their basic technique. Once this has been accomplished, there are wonderful cruising runs for intermediates to play on from morning to the last lifts. For the more advanced skier, the double black diamond area found on Peak 7, offers a number of challenging runs, perhaps some of the toughest of the skiing within Vail Resorts. Add to that the snow sure conditions to be found in North America's highest resort and you will appreciate what a great resort this is!
The Colorado Ticket provides unlimited skiing in each of the following five resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin. For visitors skiing for 10 days, the deal gets better as days 8-10 are free - you only have to pay for 7 days of skiing! (1 - 19 Dec, 2 Jan - 16 Feb, 3 Apr - end of season.)
