Ski holidays in Kaprun
Kaprun nestles below the Kitzsteinhorn glacier affording the resort guaranteed skiing all season, This small village is one half of the Europa Sport Region ski area along with the neighbouring resort of Zell am See.
Après-ski in Kaprun can be quite lively in venues such as the Baum Bar and Café Nindl to mention just a couple or if relaxing after a hard day on the piste is what you are after, visit the Optimum Leisure centre in the village centre.
Kaprun is split into 3 distinct areas; the Lechnerberg on one side of the village offering gentle beginner slopes ideal for learning; the Maiskogel, on the opposite side, with a selection of blues and reds for the progressing beginner and intermediate skier. The third area is the Kitzsteinhorn glacier rising to over 3,000m with a larger selection of all types of runs from blue to black. Your lift pass further enables you to ski on the many varied runs above Zell am See on the Schmittenhöhe mountain, and free transportation on the ski bus is included!
