Ski holidays in Kitzbühel

The cosmopolitan and chic resort of Kitzbühel has been welcoming skiers for many years, and every January it hosts one of the most famous World Cup Downhill races on the HahneNkamm. Although the centre of Kitzbühel dates back many centuries and the painted houses and cobbled streets add to its unique atmosphere, the stylish shops and restaurants are most certainly of this century.

With 160km of piste, Kitzbühel offers a wealth of varied skiing. There are easy nursery slopes below the Hahnenkamm gondola ideal for beginners and the Kitzbüheler Horn offers a good selection of blue runs. For the intermediate skier and upwards, one day should definitely be spent skiing the Ski Safari from Pass Thun down to Kitzbühel. Some excellent bumps can be found on the Ehrenbachhöhe and you should not miss out on the chance of testing yourself on the 'Streif' to see how you fare on the downhill course.

The centre of Kitzbühel is only a short walk away, allowing easy access to all the resort amenities. For those of you brave enough, the famous Hahnenkamm race course 'Streif' ends by the hotel. But, of course, there is also a family run back to the Rasmushof.
